Hair Follicle Stem Cells and Their Bulge Niche

Abstract: Hair follicle bulge is the specific microenvironment for follicle stem cells. It can maintain and regulate the characteristics of stem cells， accomplishing a balance of quiescence， self-renewal， and cell differentiation. Underscoring the physical structure of follicle bulge， this paper aims to interpreting the regulation of stem cells by the niche.
