Practice and Exploration of Intelligent Teaching in Cell Biology

This study, taking the students of Animal Science in Southwest University as the teaching objects, discusses the application of intelligent teaching in the course of Cell Biology using the author’s own online open courses and the intelligent platform. Through the design of “before, during and after class” teaching activities, the intelligent teaching increased the fun and interaction of the class, aroused students’ interest in learning, broadened students’ knowledge, cultivated students’ abilities for self-study, communication and problem-solving, significantly improved students’ academic performance, and effectively overcomed the disadvantages of students’ low enthusiasm and interaction in class under the traditional teaching mode. Under the new intelligent teaching mode, the status of students is more fully respected, the benefit of classroom teaching is maximized. The intelligent teaching contributes to the effective realization of the goal of education.
