The Application of Gelatin-embedding in Ultrathin Cryo-sectioning of Solid Tissues

Abstract: Three different biological solid tissues are embedded in gelatin， then ultrathin cryo-sectioned and observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results show that the embedded tissues are better than unembedded ones in the quality of ultrathin cryo-sections and the integrity of ultrastructures under TEM.
