Abstract: Different chicken embryo tissue cells were got by tissue culture in this experiment, and M199 medium was used for the primary culture and serial subcultivation. Then morphology observation, growth curves and divisional index were recruited for their biological characteristic analysis. The results showed that there were many differences between different tissue cells in chicken embryo, ranging from morphosis to growth cycle. The cells derived from body tissue and heart tissue were fibroblast-like cell, while the lung tissue cells were epitheliallike cell. And the body tissue cells were grown faster than heart tissue cells, the last, lung tissue cells. The body tissue cells’ doubling time was shorter than other two tissues among the three tissues. The further karyotype analysis indicated that the number of chicken embryo cell chromosomes was 78, which belonged to the normal chicken karyotype. The results above could provide material and basis for further research in the field.
