How to Emphasize ,esearch, in Study for Life Sicence Teaching: What We Can Learn from CBE

Abstract: During the recent years, there have been increasing bodies of research articles on life science education published or submitted. However, the themes of these papers are limited and the forms are not standardized. Moreover, the methodology is problematic. These weakened the scientific feature of education research, which is unbeneficial to domestic communication and spreading of the ideas and pedagogy in the life science teaching. This review, aiming to stimulate the attention to the quality of research of life science teaching, introduces the formats of the columns and articles of CBE-Life Science Education, a journal issued by American Society for Cell Biology, with especial analysis on methodology of the articles.
