Abstract: Comparative mapping of genomes is one of important research fields in genome study. Comparative mapping of plant genomes has shown that the organization of genes remains highly conserved over long evolutionary periods. Construction of a plant genetic map and a physical map has provided the bases for comparative mapping of a plant. Here we introduced the progresses in comparative mapping of plant genomes.
