SUMO， a Ubiquitin-related Protein

Abstract: Sumo (small ubiquitin-related modifier) is one of the ubiquitin-related proteins and resembles ubiquitin's ability to be reversibly ligand to other proteins. Unlike ubiquitin induces protein degradation， sumoylation regulates protein/protein interaction， localization ，and stability. Here we show more details about sumo in class， structure， ligation pathway and biological function.
