Abstract:

Genetically engineered T-cell therapy has become the most promising approach for the treatment of solid tumors. Although CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T-cell) therapy has shown remarkable efficacy in the treatment of hematological malignancies, the efficacy of treating solid tumors remains at low levels. TCR-T (T cell receptor-engineered T cell) therapies have shown encouraging results in the treatment of solid tumors. This review describes the clinical results achieved by TCR-T cell therapies targeting different tumor antigens, and summarizes current limitations and challenges of TCR-T cell therapies. Finally, this study discusses the improving strategies and future directions of TCR-T therapies.
