Abstract:

The phenomenon of metabolic reprogramming of cells is first discovered in tumor cells, but with the progress of research, this phenomenon is no longer limited to tumor cells, and it can also occur in some cells of non-tumor diseases. At present, the mechanism driving this phenomenon is still unclear. As a classical signaling pathway, Notch pathway plays an important role in the regulation of cell metabolism, differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis. In recent years, it has been found that Notch signaling pathway is involved in the regulation of metabolic reprogramming in tumor and non-tumor cells, which has not been summarized yet. This paper summarizes the regulatory mechanism of Notch signaling pathway on catabolism of glucose, fatty acids and amino acids in cellular metabolic reprogramming.
