Abstract:

Thyroid disease is one of the common endocrine diseases. Hypothyroidism is a disease caused by insufficient synthesis or secretion of thyroid hormones. Hypothyroidism is a common pathological manifestation of thyroid hormone deficiency, and its clinical manifestation is thyroid hormone deficiency. In clinical treatment, thyroxine tablets are often used as a substitute, but there are many adverse reactions after taking the drug for a long time. In recent years, relevant studies have shown that stem cell therapy can be used as one of the effective treatment schemes for thyroid diseases, especially hypothyroidism. Stem cells are pluripotent cells with strong differentiation ability. They can be induced to differentiate into thyroid cells or thyroid follicular cells, or used to treat thyroid diseases such as hypothyroidism by transplantation. The research progress of hypothyroidism and its stem cell therapy is summarized.
