CircRNA (circular RNA) is a kind of ncRNA (non-coding RNA) with a special circular structure
and has a variety of biological functions. With the deepening of research, circRNA was found to inhibit the expression of miRNA (micro RNA) through sponge adsorption, thus regulating the development of tumors in various systems. Furthermore, one circRNA can also involved in the regulation of the expression of one or more miRNAs. This finding is helpful to seek biomarkers for tumor diagnosis and therapeutic targets. Therefore, this paper reviews the latest domestic and foreign studies on circRNA regulates tumors through miRNA, which lays a foundation for further study on exploring the mechanism of circRNA regulating the occurrence and development of various cancer diseases, as well as provides a reliable theoretical basis for the treatment and prevention of related diseases.
