Abstract:
GDNF (glial cell derived neurotrophic factor) ligand family and its receptor system are one of the major neurotrophic networks in the nervous system, which are important for the growth, development, nutrition and the function of neurons. In recent years, many scholars have confirmed that GDNF plays an important role in the regulation of pain, especially in the occurrence of pathological pain. Some research progresses have been made on the specific participation mechanism. This paper reviews the role and mechanism of GDNF in pathologic pain.
