Abstract:

Cell replacement therapy is a new strategy to treat all kinds of diseases. The malfunction cells in patients are replaced by healthy cells to achieve a full function recovery. The key questions in cell replacement include the preparation and selection of cells for transplantation, the correction of mutations with gene editing, and the potential immune reactions in cell therapy. Here, we briefly summarize the current progress of the above key questions of cell replacement therapy.
