Exploration and Practice on the Reform of Teaching Mode of Cell Biology

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the demand situation of the international application talents in the field of life sciences and the training objectives of the university, we carries out the reform of the teaching contents, teaching methods and assessment system of cell biology according to the curriculum objectives and teaching ideas. Construct the curriculum system to meet the needs, improve the content of theoretical courses and experimental courses, and focus on the cultivation of students’ scientific research quality; adopt diversified teaching mode, pay attention to experimental teaching, combine theory and practice, stimulate students’ learning motivation, cultivate students’ scientific research and innovation ability; establish cumulative assessment system. These reforms and attempts have made good results and promoted talent training and the construction of key courses in Harbin Institute of Technology.
