Advances in the Research of Aerobic Exercise-induced Hypertrophy and Cardiomyocyte Proliferation

Abstract: The heart in adult mammals grows in size in response to aerobic exercise with cardiac hypertrophy and cardiomyocyte proliferation， but little is known about the detailed molecular and cell biological mechanisms underlying physiological interventions. This review focuses on the most recent advances related to mechanisms of physiological hypertrophy induced by aerobic exercise.
