Abstract: The cytoskeleton of smooth muscle cells (SMC) is a complex and dynamic network, which is an essential cellular structure for cell survive. Rho-associated coiled-coil kinase (ROCK) and Dial, as the downstream targets of Rho, induce the formation of the stress fibres. Protein kinase C plays a key role during the reorganization of cytoskeleton by different isoforms on subcellular location. The Rho and PKC develop cross-talk through Src signal pathway, regulating the cytoskeleton of SMC.
