Caspase and Central Nervous System Disease

Abstract: In recent years， considerable progress has been made in understanding the process of cell death. A character of many central nervous system (CNS) diseases is correlation with caspase. In this paper， we reviewed the important of caspase and the mechanisms of neuronal-cell death in CNS diseases. Meantime， we summarized the evidence concerned with apoptosis， and discussed the knowledge of therapeutic strategies.
