Abstract:

ncRNA (noncoding RNA) is a kind of RNA that does not encode protein but has important function. tRF is a new type of ncRNA. More and more studies have found that it plays important roles in many aspects, rather than a simple degradation product. For example, tRF can control gene expression, regulate transcription and translation, and it is closely related to cell self-renewal, proliferation and differentiation. Therefore, tRF may be involved in a variety of diseases, such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, immune system disorders and so on. This paper mainly introduces the classification, main biological functions and research methods of biomolecules and bioinformatics of tRF.
