Abstract:
Lung cancer stem cell refers to a cell population derived from lung cancer with the ability to self-renew, and it will affect the development and prognosis of lung cancer. YAP is a key transcriptional regulatory protein that activates the Hippo pathway and plays an important role in regulating organ size, cell self-renewal and stem cell characteristics. Cldn (claudin) is an integral tight junction protein that acts as a modulator of YAP and is often dysfunctional in cancer. In this paper, the relationship between Cldn, YAP and LCSC will be reviewed.
