Abstract: RNAi is a phenomenon of post-transcriptional gene silencing, initiated by special double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) in eukaryotic cells. In recent years, the mechanism of RNAi has been clearly illustrated, and it has been widely used in the study of gene function. In this paper, we have summarized the mechanism of reaction, application, problem and prospect of RNAi in mammalian oocytes and early embryos.
