Abstract: Abstract Liver metastasis of gastric cancer is one of the main factors that affect the treatment and prognosis of patients with gastric cancer. Early diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of liver metastasis of gastric cancer are not optimistic. However, little is known about the molecular mechanisms of liver metastasis of gastric cancer. In general, the process of stomach cancer cells, migrated from the primary tumor and colonized in the liver tissue by invading vessels, is involved in many molecular signaling and cell-cell interactions. Herein, we review the research advances in the process of liver metastasis and the status quo of diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer patients with liver metastasis. This review will help us to get a more comprehensive understanding of the molecular regulation mechanism of liver metastasis of gastric cancer and provide a diagnosis and treatment basis.
