Abstract: Proteomics, an emerging discipline in the post-genomic era, is the integrated studies of protein properties on a large scale. Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) are the most common neurodegeneration disorders. Using the proteomic approaches, it is possible to elucidate the nature of these diseases at protein level. It is also helpful to understand their pathological mechanisms, and to diagnose and cure these diseases.
