Abstract: A successful systemic infection of plant virus depends on the virus-host interactions. The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the cytoskeleton of plant play important roles in viral intracellular transport process which involves targeting of virus to the plasmodesmmata and inducing the degradation of redundant viral factors. This review commentates some new understanding about the functions of the ER and the cytoskeleton in viral intracellular transportation.
