Abstract: Anthocyanins are main determinants of plant flower colors. In recent years， with rapid development of molecular bio-technology and research， the regulation mechanism of anthocyanins has become increasingly clear. In order to provide theoretical reference for flower color improving， this review describes regulation mechanism about biosynthesis of anthocyanins， modification of anthocyanidins， co-pigments， vacuole pH value， metal ions and transcription factors.
