Abstract: Lipoxins (LXs), metabolites of arachidonic acid, are one of the most important endogenous lipid mediators which initiate inhibition inflammatory reaction as well as promote extinction of inflammation resolution.Nowadays, many advancements have been achieved in the research of their biosynthetic pathways, biological functions and effects in hepatic diseases. This article will review the progress in the related research.
