Interactions of Catechins with Metal Ions and Their Biological Significance

Abstract: With widely investigations of the preventive effects of catechins from many kinds of diseases， interactions of catechins with metal ions are being become the novel hotspot in inorganic biochemistry and medicine or other subjects. In the present paper， we reviewed the interactions of catechins with metal ions and their biological significance. Also， we estimated their prospects in the coming day in this paper.
