Ideological and Political Education Leading, Three Integrations and Three Drives: Exploration and Practice of Teaching Reform in Medical Cell Biology

In response to the “Healthy China” initiative and the demands of the “New Medicine” development, this study addresses the practical issues in the teaching of Medical Cell Biology, such as the rigid integration of ideological and political education, insufficient fusion of basic science and medicine, and a predominantly conventional teaching model. A novel blended teaching paradigm characterized by “ideological and political education leading, three integrations and three drives” has been developed. The teaching team has achieved a deep integration of value shaping, knowledge imparting, and competency development through a series of measures: building a systematic curriculum for ideological and political education, constructing “fusion of basic science and medicine” curriculum content system, constructing a“five-repositories-in-one” digital resource bank, implementing a “three-stage, five-step” blended teaching approach, and establishing a “one innovation, three competitions” practical education system. Practice has demonstrated that this teaching model significantly enhances students’ learning outcomes, innovative practical abilities, and comprehensive competencies. The achievements of the teaching reform have been highly recognized by both students and peer experts.
