Abstract:

A cell is a whole complex organism. It is capable of carrying out a series of life activities. Apoptosis, which regulates cell senescence and programmed cell death, plays an important role in cell’s life activities. Apoptosis is mainly regulated by the Caspase protease family, in which Caspase-3 plays a crucial role. In this review, the composition and function of the Caspase family, the characteristics and mechanism of Caspase-3 are reviewed.
