Abstract:

Homeobox genes are evolutionarily conserved, which play important roles in regulating embryonic development, especially in the development and limb development of the antero-posterior axis of vertebrates. Recent studies have shown that the Hox genes regulate the development of the central nervous system and the neural circuit through their associated cofactors. This paper reviewd the roles and mechanism of the Hox gene in regulating the development of the central nervous system.
