Abstract Jagged1 is one of ligands from Notch receptors in vertebrates. Recently, many researches indicate that it may induce maturation of dendritic cells, and that it may promote T lymphocytes to deviate to regulatory T cells or T-helper 2 cells, which results in the immuno-tolerance.

Key words Jagged1; dendritic cell; immuno-tolerance
