Chinese Journal of Cell Biology (ISSN 0253-9977) is sponsored by the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Society for Cell Biology. It was started in 1979. Chinese Journal of Cell Biology is a print and online publication dedicated to providing a variety of complete and rapidly published articles in all areas of cell biology. It has a wide circulation among the scientists and students in China and continues to attract the best material in the field. The average time from submission to appearance in print is currently around 180 days. The Journal is published by Shanghai Scientific and Technical Publishers and appears bimonthly.
